Meet the New Adobe Evangelist for ColdFusion.
For those of you who don't know, Adobe have a great Evangelism team both in the US and Europe as well as the rest of the world. In the early days before Adobe merged with Macromedia and, and before them Allaire, we had some guy called Ben Forta (who was recently in London) that would Evangelise ColdFusion.
Once he moved on up the chain becoming Director of Platform Evangelism, Adam Lehman took the role up and did such a great Job that he is now the ColdFusion Product Manager. So this left a space there for a new ColdFusion Evangelist; Terrence Ryan as announced back in January 2009.

Terry will be showing off the Adobe Roadmap for ColdFusion and the new features in Centaur AKA ColdFusion 9 in his keynote and then have a very special dedicated session on the New ColdFusion IDE Code Named Bolt.

Thanks, Kev. I can't begin to tell you how psyched I am to be at SOTR. For the past few years, I kept seeing the blog posts that come out of it, wishing there was a way that I could convince my employer that sending me to the UK was worth it. Well I finally did that. ;) And I can't wait.
